Privacy Policy
Last updated September 30, 2026
This policy explains what information Hydrology Water Solutions (“we,” “us”) collects when you use hydrologyinc.com, call or text us, or book a service, and what we do with it. The short version: we use your information to answer you, schedule and do the work, and improve our website and advertising. We don’t sell your personal information.
Information you give us
When you fill out a form, book a water test, call, text or email us, we collect what you provide, such as your name, phone number, email, service address, and details about your water or equipment. Our booking and contact forms are provided by Housecall Pro, the software we use to schedule jobs and keep customer records. If you apply for financing, you apply directly with the financing company (Synchrony or Wisetack), and their privacy policies apply to that application.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site and how our ads perform. This can include your device and browser type, pages visited, links clicked, how you arrived at the site, and general location based on your IP address. We use these services:
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, to measure site traffic and which pages are useful.
- Google Ads, to measure which ads lead to calls and bookings, and to show our ads to people who have visited our site.
- Call tracking (CallRail), which may show a tracking phone number so we can tell which ad or page led to a call. Calls may be recorded for quality and training.
- Microsoft Clarity. We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replay, to improve and market our services. Website usage data is captured using first- and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies. We use this information for site improvement, fraud and security purposes, and advertising. Clarity masks text you type into forms. For more about how Microsoft collects and uses data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel, to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show our ads to people who have visited our site.
Text messages
If you check the box on our form or otherwise agree to receive texts, we may send appointment reminders, service updates and occasional offers. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile number or your text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing.
How we use your information
- To answer your questions and schedule water tests, installs and service.
- To do the work, send invoices and reminders, and handle warranty registrations.
- To follow up after a job, including asking for a review.
- To improve our website and measure our advertising.
- To protect against fraud and comply with the law.
How we share it
We share information only with companies that help us run the business, such as our scheduling software, equipment manufacturers for warranty registration, payment and financing providers, and the analytics and advertising services listed above, or when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
- Google ads: manage ad personalization at Google Ad Settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Facebook and Instagram ads: manage them in your Meta account’s ad preferences.
- Texts: reply STOP.
- Your information: call us to ask what we have on file, to correct it, or to have it deleted, subject to records we must keep for warranties, taxes or the law.
How long we keep it
We keep customer and job records for as long as you’re a customer and as long as needed for warranty, service history, tax and legal reasons.
Security
We use reputable software providers and limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive information such as card numbers through our website forms.
Children
Our website and services are meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
