Stenner pump service · well water systems
Stenner pump repair
for chlorine injection systems.
If your well system uses a Stenner pump to feed chlorine, small wear parts decide whether it works. We replace pump tubes, check valves, rollers and drive gears, and get your injection system feeding again.

What we fix
The Stenner repairs
we do most.
A chlorine injection system is only as good as the pump feeding it.
How it fits
Where the pump sits in a well system
On a chlorine injection well system, the Stenner pump feeds a measured amount of chlorine into the water as the well runs. A contact tank gives it time to work on iron, sulfur and bacteria, and a carbon filter takes the chlorine back out before the water reaches your taps.
We recently replaced the worn drive gear on the Stenner pump of a well system we rebuilt from air injection to chlorine injection. Read that case study.

“I cannot say enough amazing things about this company and system! We had three companies come out and Hydrology stood out on every level.”
“We’ve had our system now a month and absolutely love it. My wife is a hair beautician with over 30 years of experience and definitely can tell the difference with the water.”
“Wow, I can definitely feel a difference in my hair, skin, and when I wash my hands. I knew getting a water softener was a priority and I’m so glad I decided to go with Hydrology.”

Pump questions
What people ask
about Stenner pumps.
From the techs who service them.
How do I know my Stenner pump has stopped feeding?
The chlorine smell at the tap goes away, iron or sulfur odor comes back, or the level in the solution tank stops dropping. If the motor runs but the rollers are not turning, the drive gear is a likely suspect.
Do you work on pumps another company installed?
Yes. We service chlorine injection systems whether we installed them or not, and we check the rest of the well system while we are there.
Is a stripped gear a big repair?
No. On many Stenner models the gear is a small part that swaps out in one visit. We confirm what failed before we replace anything.
How often should the pump tube be replaced?
The pump tube is a wear part and Stenner publishes a replacement schedule for it. We replace it on that schedule during routine service so it does not split between visits.
