Custom homes built to a green standard
Country Club East is Lakewood Ranch’s private, gated golf community — roughly 1,200 homes planned, built by custom and semi-custom builders, and held to Florida Green Building Coalition standards. That green standard carries over to how we build a system here.
Bigger custom homes mean more bathrooms and more water, so a softener has to be sized for real flow, not the average house. We use metered valves that regenerate only on water actually used, and efficient reverse osmosis at the kitchen sink. The water itself is Manatee County’s — 6 to 16 grains hard with chloramine.
We’ve installed in Country Club East, and the same local tech who tests your water does the install.
Why neighbors in Country Club East choose Hydrology
Our quality and workmanship is the difference — the plumbing is clean and careful, and we take the extra time to do it right. The equipment is Puronics, backed by a manufacturer warranty from publicly traded Franklin Electric and serviced locally by us. If a job needs a permit, we bring in the licensed plumber we work with.

“Wow, I can definitely feel a difference in my hair, skin, and when I wash my hands. I knew getting a water softener was a priority and I’m so glad I decided to go with Hydrology.”

What hard water does to a home: the Battelle study →
Does a big house need a bigger softener?
Usually. Softeners are sized to hardness and how much water flows through at once — more bathrooms running at the same time means a larger tank or valve.
Is a softener wasteful?
A metered softener regenerates only after a set amount of water, which saves salt and water compared with older timer units. Efficient RO systems send less water to the drain, too.
Do you work with the architectural review?
Yes. Installs are normally inside the garage, and we provide license and insurance paperwork if the association asks.
