Brand-new Toll Brothers homes, set up right from day one
The Isles at Lakewood Ranch is a new Toll Brothers community — about 450 homes, with the models opening in 2026. Moving into a brand-new house is the best time to deal with the water, before hard-water scale has a chance to settle into a new water heater or new fixtures.
The water is Manatee County’s: 6 to 16 grains hard, disinfected with chloramine. We typically fit a softener with carbon ahead of it in the garage, and reverse osmosis at the kitchen sink — including a line to the refrigerator if you want filtered ice.
We’ve installed in The Isles, and the same local tech who tests your water does the install.

Should I wait until I’ve lived there a while?
