Waterside is the first Lakewood Ranch village in Sarasota County — more than 5,000 homes planned across 12 neighborhoods and seven lakes, including LakeHouse Cove and The Alcove. Because it sits across the county line, the water here isn’t necessarily the same as in the Manatee County villages to the north.
Check your water bill for which utility serves you. If it’s Sarasota County Utilities, that water is a blend from several sources and is also disinfected with chloramine. Hardness varies with the blend, which is exactly why we test at your faucet before sizing anything.
